However, there's a type
of boss
out there who tries a little
too hard to be a friend to one or more
of his employees, and this type
of boss can cause some real problems in the
workplace.

workplaces, T&G officers spend
too much time acting as convenor because
workplace organisation is not strong enough to sort
out the bulk
of its own problems.

The implications in the classroom are obvious, but effective recruiters should be aware
of how these learning styles play
out in the
workplace,
too.
If demands are
too high, they get burnt
out quickly and will eventually get wise and realize they can find other jobs, appeal to law and
workplace regulations, or join the rebel alliance to get
out from under the threats
of their bosses.
This can get
out of hand, however, when
workplace relationships become
too casual, and the goal
of fostering team cohesion is subsumed by the misguided goal
of simply turning everyone into buddies.
