yogurt for your protein boost, and if you're having this smoothie as a snack rather than a meal, you can just leave the protein powder
out entirely.

For the frosting I mixed the cake
with, I swapped
out the butter for 1/2 the amount called for
of plain 2 % greek
yogurt.
I bake them up in muffins, stir them into dairy free
yogurt, and just eat them
out of hand
with the juice dripping down my chin.
After pulling my stuffed apple
out of the microwave, I drizzle it
with Almond Vanilla Opadipity by Litehouse sweet Greek
yogurt dip.
Another was Breakfast for Dinner where I shared these Dark Chocolate, Orange and Pistachio Greek
Yogurt Cups, because it was my first week back after my «maternity leave», and after a rough first few months
with Baby Smiles, getting back to blogging really felt like getting back to life, getting
out of the Baby Fog, and doing something for me again.
I don't know if incredible fresh figs are a California thing, or if I never really sought them
out enough in Chicago, but they are my favorite toast - topper,
yogurt - dipper, eat - em» - by - the - handful snack as
of late, and I couldn't bear the idea
of letting fig season fade without sharing something figgy
with you guys.
I've posted pics
of some
of the things I've tried
out of it so far — the whole wheat chocolate chip cookies, the Spelt Flour Currant scones and the Sweet Potato Muffins (
with buttermilk,
yogurt and medjool dates).
They turned
out chocolaty and delicious
with speckles
of grated beets throughout and it was topped
with a delicious chocolate
yogurt frosting.
HS: Hi Elyse, you could certainly trade
out the
yogurt for a favorite vinaigrette if you like, maybe a vinaigrette pureed
with toasted walnuts or almonds for a bit
of creaminess?
There is a traditional bulgarian salad
with exactly the same recipe, it's called «snejanka», means Snow white To thicken the
yogurt we leave it in a nuts bag for a night to drain all the liquid
out of it, it tastes amazing afterwards!
Although many dieters add
yogurt to their daily menu, they'd better watch
out at the sweeteners it contains,
with many
of the brands using High Fructose Corn Syrup to make them taste good.
I made the following changes
out of convenience: added carrot and chard and a splash
of rice vinegar batter, topped
with sunflower seeds and cilantro, served
with a side
of mayo and
yogurt mixed together
with some wasabi powder and chopped green onions.
My personal favorite way to eat it is in a cup
of vanilla
yogurt and Silk recently came
out with a dairy - free alternative that's incredibly tasty.
You can also get a little fancy lik I did and serve the granola over a scooped

of cranberry sauce on the side for color
If you want to serve it in the pear boats, simply cut pears in half vertically, scoop

of the center and fill

Right as I took the pops
out of their mold, Paloma ate one
with an impressive speed and proceeded to ask for another, which I gave her

of organic berries, acidophilus and other beneficial

out of raw goat milk from the Dancing Goat farm,
with Seven Stars Farm

However, a little while ago I started experimenting
with different ways to make the dressings for chicken salad, swapping
out the mayonnaise entirely for other options, like this recipe where I used a base
of Greek
yogurt instead).
These soaked granola cereals can be eaten right
out of the bag or from the handy single serving cups, tossed into your
yogurt, or covered
with milk.
So, after picking up some
of the
yogurt, I headed into the kitchen last night to try
out their Greek Turkey Burger Recipe
with Homemade Tzatziki sauce.
Best easy satisfying dinner ever: ripe plantains fried in olive oil, over easy egg, black beans
out of a can cooked
with some red bell peppers, cayenne, onion and a little bbq sauce,
with plain
yogurt as a topping instead
of sour cream.
The kofte turned
out really tasty, especially tossed
with melt - in - the - mouth roasted aubergine, crisp fresh parsley, red onion, and a good dollop
of minted
yogurt.
This Vegetable Pasta Salad is dressed
with a creamy herb dressing made
out of low fat
yogurt and pesto.
The chicken chills
out in a bowl in the fridge
with a
yogurt marinade filled
with a bunch
of delicious things like red onion, seasoning, lemon juice and more.
This recipe combines plain
yogurt with blueberries, a hint
of maple syrup and a handful
of almonds for a hearty and texture - filled breakfast
yogurt that beats
out anything you'll find in the local grocery -LSB-...]
You take a pomegranate and you cut it hemi spherically you open it up and then you whack it
with a wooden spoon get
out all our aggression and spit
out the seeds into a little bowl then I added some unsweetened kind
of Greek - style almond
yogurt with some unsweetened cocoa powder to make kind
of a chocolate pudding
with the pomegranate added some pumpkin seeds so I had this chocolate pudding pumpkin and the little seeds are like little explosions
of juice it was absolutely delicious.
I should do more
with granola, but I love it on my
yogurt and to just eat it
out of the bag!
Mostly, they just eat blueberries right
out of the bowl or mix in some
yogurt but I love to bake
with fresh blueberries so I try to snag a cup or so to mix in recipes.
Turn
out onto a platter, or serve in individual bowls ladled
with a generous amount
of the maple
yogurt, and sprinkled
with plenty
of pecans and dried fruit.
This is still a pretty basic gluten - free buckwheat - based pancake at it's core (although the ingredient list still looks long, the pancakes are quick to throw together); I just swapped
out the
yogurt for a little more almond milk
with a splash
of apple cider vinegar to imitate the acid in
yogurt.
Nope, this is a crunchy and dry, sprinkle over
yogurt or eat
out of the bowl
with berries, type
of granola.
Also want to add that I just made the best Alfredo sauce
with some
of the cashew cream / coconut
yogurt mixture (I took some
out before culturing it).
Simply thin
out plain
yogurt or sour cream
with enough milk until it is the consistency
of buttermilk.
Another couple
of variations would be swapping
out some
of the water
with a nice dark beer and making a sumac
yogurt.
Delicious on its own, or my favorite way
with a nice spoonful
of plain
yogurt on the side for a creamy and smooth contrasting element (I decided to try this
out on my own and thought it was amazing!).
The
yogurt and sticky stuff will come
out easily once blended
with the milk and you won't have to scrape it
out of your measuring device when you're ready to move it; just use
yogurt > milk > everything else as your order for adding stuff in; you can shake your table spoon around in the milk to make sure you get every last bit
of honey or maple syrup
out.
Discussing blueberries, yet applicable to most fruits, Tom Payne,
of the U. S. Highbush Blueberry Council, points
out that fruits
with naturally high sugar levels can help remove the sour taste sometimes associated
with fermented dairy products, especially
yogurt and kefir.
We eat it
with ice cream or
yogurt, but I bet I could make a frosting
out of cashews and stevia - vanilla and chocolate powder.
