There are several things you can do to make sure that you get the most
out of every workout session that you do.
Try a little exercise on your own and make sure that your body is ready and when it is so, you can make the most
out of these workout sessions.
For those who wish to get the best results
out of their workout sessions, but do not have that much time to spend at the gym.

Some options to take care
of this could be meditating for ten minutes, going for a 30 minute walk, or participating in a high intensity
workout session to get
out of your head.
One such story involves one
of the residents forgetting to take his meds, bumping into a young mom on her way to a
workout session, and saying something wildly inappropriate (and very funny — you should definitely go

Here's what my most recent week
of workouts looked like (and full disclosure, Friday's stationary bike
session was supposed to be on Tuesday, to balance
out the bike / run some):

Like I said above, the best time to hold a static stretch is when your muscles are warm - so after your
workout is done, after you get
out of the shower, after you finish a sauna
session, or even IN the sauna.
I'm usually exhausted by the end
of the day and prefer to work
out in the morning, but after a cryo
session, I felt energized enough to get a
workout in later on.

On the first day
of your advanced
workout sessions, you need to carry

For Caveman Training
sessions, my main focus will be on short, high intensity, all -
out bursts
of power and strength mixed in with a combination
of pre and post
workout bouts
of cardio.
While there are some practical limitations to unplugging (e.g. you need to carry your phone for emergencies, or your only weight training equipment is at a fancy health club with lots
of electricity), you should try to go
out of the way to ensure your toughest
workout sessions occur in as unplugged a state as possible.

of them during your

workouts or «peak - performance» exercise
sessions, you'll likely use more than the body has immediately available and possibly run
out of gas mid-workout or «bonk» as they say in the cycling world.
If you're running
out of steam
out on the track or the court, or you find yourself getting incredibly tired during your most intense

out, look at the last
session, now (3) do something slightly different — a different grip, weight, number
of reps, sets, order
