Cute novelty pieces like items in the Kate Spade range are also fabulous to pick up during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because you won't wear them all the time, but they're quality enough to quirk up an outfit season after season without really going out of style.

I would approach this sale my picking up items that you will get a lot of use out, are voids you have in your spring wardrobe (typically these are basics like knits, denim, shoes, and jeackets), or splurge - worthy items that never go on sale.

There's a ton of great items in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (the jeans this year were on point), but I expressed a bit of self control this year and only picked up things I thought were necessary and that I'd get a lot of wear out of.
