I began to notice areas I felt some pressure to conform: sometimes I feel an unspoken pressure from the institution and individuals within it to adhere to a preset systemization of belief and morality; sometimes I allow a comment left on my blog or criticism from other bloggers to intimidate me into conformity; sometimes I feel afraid to let what I really believe to leak out of my mouth; sometimes I allow criticism of the way I oversee our community, or criticism of our community itself, to frighten me into silence, passivity and paralysis.

well, I sometimes bring some of those ways of thinking and operating to this blog... I do nt» mean to, it is almost like muscle memory... someone throws out a straw man arguement or circular logic, or some other logical fallacy, and well... sometimes I jump at it the way I would over at other blogs without maybe taking a moment to re-adjust my attitude.
So until the new version of that book comes out, maybe I can write a few blog posts once in a while about these other passages.

So as I have said to others on this blog... before lashing out with accusations and attacks, at least seek to learn something about the actual views and beliefs of the person you intend to attack.
On the other hand your posts have nothing positive to say, your attack on people and making fun of those who are reaching out to needy kids (case in point this blog) is useless / futile and is helping no cause.
Frankly, this blog strikes me as one of those deals where the former pastor figures out that all the other religious people are wrong, and he doesn't want to be one of those «fundie douchebags» (to quote one of your fans), and so he starts spewing cynical knee - jerk vitriol against anything that smacks of conservativism or evangelicalism or whatever.
I love Laura's blog and would love to gather inspiration from her book — I agree it can be so nice to take a break from creating recipes yourself and try out other people's;) And digging the fact that this soup can be adapted using seasonal veggies any time of year.
We've know each other through Facebook blogging groups and I'm really glad we've met because your blog happens to be my favorite out of all the other bloggers I've met through those groups.
When I started I knew most of the vegan bloggers out there and commenting on each others blogs was natural and most of the fun.
I know there are lots of blogs and websites out there attempting to reproduce other foods; for example, this site recreates restaurant meals; this one tries to recreate convenience foods; this one converts elaborate omni meals into vegan ones; and so on.

I ended up taking a break from the blog after all so I could give my complete attention to other things such as intensive fishing in the hope of catching a big one for once in my life, finishing the never - ending Grey's Anatomy and then realizing that the latest episode is out but not on Netflix.ca (are you kidding me!!!)
