In a fascinating post on The Conversation
blog, Maynard makes an argument that won't surprise anyone who has read any fictional account
of human's interplanetary future — colonizing
other planets probably won't bring
out the better angels
of our nature, and any attempt to put people on Mars will require overcoming serious social and political problems, such as:

other experts don't usually mention when they talk about using email for content promotion.

I started this

Sometimes when I read these posts on
other blogs and see that I don't own any
of the names mentioned I feel a little left
out.
Some
of the tips to save money that many early retirement
blogs suggest are to live close to where you work to cut your commuting costs, bike to work, cook food at home rather than going
out to eat, cut
out cable and
other excesses that don't really add value to your life.
Gary wrong again, Gary wrong again: I was a guest before this on this
blog: Even check
out Martin Zender; The World's most outspoken bible scholar facebook; You will find me there; he knows me, and his crew knows
of me; Father has
others too that have been with me for years that are not in my city through their ministries also that have come up along side
of me, but I do not want you to come against them as they have their own trials to overcome, therefore; no names given there, they also know me and my testimony: I am God's workmanship therefore, I was brought up in Christ along side witnesses as His testimony: Gary; this is going to be shocking, but because God does not inform you
of a thing, means to me, that He has kept very much from you: Now why would that be?
I checked his

of his post through to the end, I had to skim.
So, what is my point? To read Paul's polemic, his rhetoric and generally his theology as an end in itself, rather than his attempt to bring
others to an experience
of the living God is to me, missing the point. It seems that much
of the divisiveness between believers on this
blog and a few
others I visit is just that: I often read... Paul says this... hey, but Jesus says that... no, he wasn't saying that, he was saying this and so on and so on.Am I the only one bored with this «your Mother and my Mother were hanging
out clothes» approach.I think we need a little more adverb, as in maybe....
I began to notice areas I felt some pressure to conform: sometimes I feel an unspoken pressure from the institution and individuals within it to adhere to a preset systemization
of belief and morality; sometimes I allow a comment left on my
blog or criticism from
other bloggers to intimidate me into conformity; sometimes I feel afraid to let what I really believe to leak
out of my mouth; sometimes I allow criticism
of the way I oversee our community, or criticism
of our community itself, to frighten me into silence, passivity and paralysis.
It was at this point that Julie entered the mix to suggest that the
blog Tony posted regarding the causes
of Driscoll's seemingly sudden tumble from the status
of Golden Boy contained no small measure
of the pot calling the kettle black, and in the course
of her comment pointed
out that when Tony abandoned her and their children it was none
other than Driscoll who stepped in to help.
A number
of folks (myself included) either said things or had comments appear on their
blogs that called
out Tony for his behavior, only for the
blog owner to be subjected to intimidation tactics from Tony and
other EV leaders.
I came across your

other day as I was searching for help on how to get all these thoughts
out of my head and
out for
others to hear.
I been saying this a number

well, I sometimes bring some
of those ways
of thinking and operating to this
blog... I do nt» mean to, it is almost like muscle memory... someone throws
out a straw man arguement or circular logic, or some
other logical fallacy, and well... sometimes I jump at it the way I would over at
other blogs without maybe taking a moment to re-adjust my attitude.
So until the new version

out of respect for this being your
blog and for the views you and
others express I shall therefore, again, do as I say when your posts come up about pastor abuse and limit what I wrote or avoid being involved.
Martus is an egotistical jackass who likes to hear the sound

So as I have said to
others on this
blog... before lashing
out with accusations and attacks, at least seek to learn something about the actual views and beliefs
of the person you intend to attack.
On the
other hand your posts have nothing positive to say, your attack on people and making fun
of those who are reaching
out to needy kids (case in point this
blog) is useless / futile and is helping no cause.
Frankly, this
blog strikes me as one
of those deals where the former pastor figures
out that all the
other religious people are wrong, and he doesn't want to be one
of those «fundie douchebags» (to quote one
of your fans), and so he starts spewing cynical knee - jerk vitriol against anything that smacks
of conservativism or evangelicalism or whatever.
I love Laura's

PS I fully appreciate that while you are very well informed in your area, you are not holding yourself
out as a medical expert and as I reader / follower
of your
blog, I would not be relying on this information in any capacity
other than a a very useful view from an informed participant!
I ended up taking a break from the
blog after all so I could give my complete attention to
other things such as intensive fishing in the hope
of catching a big one for once in my life, finishing the never - ending Grey's Anatomy and then realizing that the latest episode is
out but not on Netflix.ca (are you kidding me!!!)
