This applicator is a doe's foot wand that has relatively long hairs, similar to Lime Crime's Velveteens, so personally I find it very hard to get a crisp, defined line around
my outer lip line using this kind of applicator, especially on my upper lip.

There are other ways to plump up those fine
lines and thin
lips without suffering through an endless succession of surgeries that leave you looking like a paralyzed creature from
outer space.
Begin by
lining the
outer line of your
lips.
Apply a bit more from the
outer lines moving inward, but leave the center of your
lips bare.
I had to apply about 3 coats to reach opacity and without
lining my
lips, the
outer edge appeared darker than the inside of my
lips.

lips, Rain on my cheeks, Cowboy on my lid, Daddy in my crease (I added a different shadow in my
outer crease to darken it a bit), Hello on the inner corner of my eye, Snap Dragon on my lower lash
line, and a different shadow on my brow bone.
Use your
lip pencil to draw a
line outside the
outer edge of the upper
lip and inside the lower
lip line and then fill in lightly.
They are very slim in design, making it so much easier to
line the
outer lip and fill them in with highly pigmented color.
Line the
outer corners of your
lips with black liner.
The kit comes with a liner pencil, which you use first to
line your
lips and slightly fill in the
outer corners of your

Line your
lips with a dark red (or even brown) liner, focusing on the
outer corner of your
lips, then fill your
lips in with the red you have, blending it into the darker edges.
