When I started editing photos for this post I was kinda in awe... me freezing my a ** off was totally worth the beautiful outcome... I present to you a little Valentine's Day outfit inspo part one!

So, though the craziness of packing our entire house into 3 U-boxes and 2 vehicles has made it difficult to post, and though lack of a signal has made it difficult to keep in touch via Instagram and Facebook, I want to share some photos from that day of our trip, along with outfit details, of course!

I have been so busy in the last couple of weeks, so outfit posts have been the last thing on my mind (sorry fashionistas) but I found style inspiration from somewhere a few days ago and shot some outfit photos.

Lotte and I cycled to the place where we shot the first ever outfit photos for Thoughts in Style and we chose the perfect day to take photos there because the leaves started falling and it was also kind of foggy.

Nothing screams V - Day like red pumps + a red bag... especially paired with a «Little Black Outfit «♥ I actually didn't go for the LBD (crazy, I know) so instead I opted for a black floral top and an easy to mix + match black scuba skirt!Nothing makes editing photos quite as enjoyable as finding funny shots like this one haha That's the joy of shooting with friends:p Let me break down my look — this top is a combination of Faux Leather + a Floral Print... such a fun combo!

Today is just a quick post because I wanted to share a few photos of this easy travel outfit from our day spent in Alexandria Bay, New York.

I mean long days full of outfit changes and shows and events and photo shoots in between.

I know this is a stretch of a topic for an outfit post, but I was looking at these photos and thinking about how cotton dresses get wrinkly the minute you put them on, which, of course, led me to think about my days as a professional ironing girl.

And I did get quite a few stares when we took photos of a summer outfit just some days before Christmas because the light was perfect!

I thought it was the tulips, but after seeing these photos, I think maybe my outfit was cheery enough to generate a little sunshine, and a lot of smiles from people, on what was a very gray day.

For a long time, i put up posts without planning ahead, i spent hours editing outfit photos, creating collages and typing up contents of blog posts i wanted to post in the same day that i wanted to publish them.

I wish there were better photos of our outfits but I didn't plan for the fact that with the very dark days we've been having, the light outside just isn't enough to get good pictures.

The first outfit were taken on the day of shoe pain and if you look closely you can almost feel my thinking «help me» in every photo.

I'm off on holiday for a few days with my family so thought I would share some of my favourite recent Instagram photos today as I have been busy packing for my trip and haven't had a chance to shoot my usual outfit post.

I found them very comfortable and soft for a day at home but as I typically do not wear regular leggings out of the house, I did not feature them in outfit photos.

That day was quite windy when we took these photos of this outfit.

Shooting photos of your outfits does become VERY difficult during the winter months when the sun sets by 4PM and the days are freeezing cold.

Cause honestly, last Sunday I've spent the rest of the day in bed after taking some outfit photos.

Instead of intentionally planning and thinking about an outfit in advanced, as an outfit I would probably include in my favorites, I just took some photos of my outfits almost every day.

We took these photos a couple of days ago, but I had this outfit on my mind from the moment I got these biker boots.

We had beautiful, sunny weather for the past three days but don't let the sunshine on my outfit photos fool you!It's been SO cold outside because the temperatures are below 0 °C and the wind is blowing, so I'm lucky that I got enough of balls to suck it up, pose and even smile on my photos.

Between swim lessons and dealing with Chewie's behavioral issues (more on that below) and keeping up my 4 - 5 days a week of strength training and Jason's work schedule, well, I'm lucky if I get outfit photos taken at all.

I don't really feature a lot of «night» outfits because obviously the best lighting is during the day, but I just had to take photos of one of my favorite winter night outfits.

There outfits I wear when I know I'll be able to take photos during the day, ones that I wear when I know I won't be able to get pictures, and ones that I wear when there's a possibility of documenting it, but I don't for sure.

I know a lot of bloggers use this technique but i haven't gotten used to it, I've always taken my photos the day i wear my outfits but I've been busy with a lot lately that I've started trying out the multi outfits in one day technique.

I've always been proud that I do wear what I post about, but taking photos ahead of time vs. real time leaves that door just a little bit open for me to make last minute changes the day that particular outfit is scheduled.

What was meant to be a simple day of shooting an outfit turned in to be me choosing the windiest place in the southern hemisphere to take photos.
