Although don't think this is the last you've seen of our red garage door — in true scientist fashion, I plotted out a few blog posts
over the next month and studiously planned my

I ended up wearing this
outfit on the third day of my NYC adventures, which included meetings with a PR firm, checking out the Addition Elle pop - up shop, spending some time at the Universal Standard showroom and being a bit of a tourist by popping
over to Radio City Music Hall (where the Mother premiere happened to be going on when we shot these
photos).

I wore this
outfit on Thanksgiving, we took some family
photos outdoors and being I knew we would eat a ton, I was opting for jeans
over a tight dress!

While we were in Seattle
over the holidays I topped this all - black look with the grey jacket (so technically this
outfit isn't 100 % black on black in all of the
photos, but it was REALLY cold and the only coat I packed!).

We then headed
over to Handmade Toledo (where majority of these
outfit photos were taken) to scope out all the locally made goodies.
This was because I took a few
photos of
outfits for ModCloth's Style Gallery and they seemed to go
over well on the site, and I really enjoyed taking the
photos and putting the
outfits together.
Over the weekend I had planned to take
outfit photos including a cute set of birthday themed
photos for the blog.
Sophie's been sharing fun cocktail recipes, details on gigs she's lusting
over, and
photos of beautiful autumnal
outfits.
Mario kindly shot this
outfit for me a couple of weeks ago and I forgot to share it, missing the internet at the time, I just copied the
photos over and left them in a folder.
I have tried stylists and paid $ 400 for a few Skypes with a few stylists and at the end felt quite deflated as all that transpired was to try on each
outfit, take
photos and send them in and then we would go
over why each
outfit didn't work and that was it: end of story, thank you and goodbye.
So I didn't really realize how much I looked like a Kpop star until I saw this
outfit in
photos (kind of like the time I unintentionally dressed up like an Asian tourist), but I think what throws it
over the edge is the beanie.
Anyway, we then wandered
over to the Randolph Street Market and on the way we stopped to take some

I have made
over a hundred
outfit photos for the Style Forum of the blog 40plusstyle.com.
I'll be honest and say that I wore this
over the weekend and didn't end up going anywhere except out to take
photos, but this is totally grad - school - worthy, as the majority of my
outfits are (and it's worth repeating!).
You've seen those
outfit photos that make you drool
over everything but if you break down the
outfit it's really nothing more than a sweater and high waist pants.
I had meant for this post to be about the
outfit I wore on the «farm», but after I came home and saw how funky the
photos turned out (I know how to make some awkward faces / poses) I decided just to share what I look like when someone yells «look
over here.»
(My other tip for DSLR shooting: If you often shoot
outfit photos, shoot with a 35 mm lens
over a 50 mm — the wider angle is far more flattering!
Over Thanksgiving weekend I was able to bank quite a few
outfit photos which means that the upcoming month will have some
outfits that I really did wear, just that I took the
photos out of order.
I haven't been able to taken any

The first step to the Holiday
Photos was calling my favorite photography team
over at Michelle Stromberg Photography and setting up a date, time, and an idea of a theme and location so I could start gathering
outfits!

When I wore this
outfit over the weekend, I meant to have gotten some
photos of my look with a grey, zippered hoody, but it was hot and I forgot to add the layer... so just a good tip to keep in mind when wearing this
outfit more casually.

Now that the year is
over, I have compiled the
photos of my favourite
outfits...
This is yet another example of how much my
photos has changed
over the years, would you have asked me three years ago if a purple lit escalator was to be the background for an
outfit post I would most definitely have said no.
However, after taking
outfit photos for
over a year now, I have come to the conclusion, that wishing my thighs were skinner or my arms leaner does nothing to my self esteem.
So, for the past three weeks my husband has been taking my
outfit photos instead of me hauling my tripod all
over the place.
According to the
photo albums, I was clearly all
over the two piece matching
outfit when I was a kid.
Over the course of a few days, we took batches of
outfit photos (like this one, this one and this one).
This
outfit photo session didn't turn out as good as I had wanted it to... I was rushed that morning to get out the door and my husband took these 5 minutes after I should have left... it was WINDY and cold... and, my hair was blowing all
over!
We discussed the
photos she posted each night and at the end of the month we decided the biggest «street trend» in all 4 countries was the motorcycle jacket worn
over the shoulders of every kind of
outfit you could imagine.
Natural light, in my opinion, creates the perfect backdrop to any
photo, it glosses
over wrinkles & frown lines, it illuminates your
outfit for a shot with total clarity, and it just looks magical.
P.S. Sorry for all the hip poses in this
photo shoot lol, I couldn't help it, I felt like I was about to take
over the world in this damn
outfit.
Most of my

over the weekends and while I was putting my
outfit together I figured since it was our anniversary, the day when my husband and I first met, why not do something fun in honor of our first encounter.
