Well, today I finally had a chance to take
some outfit photos while at an event at the Lincoln Park Zoo.

I meant to shoot a few
outfit photos while in New York, but I got carried away and that never happened so here we are.
We had a lovely time shopping, but I didn't get
any outfit photos while we were there, which is too bad as there are so many historical brick buildings that would've served as a nice backdrop.

I had plans to take a bunch of
outfit photos while there was light and Jason was available but snow and my laziness (sleeping in is such bliss) made it so that instead of having my husband take photos I was left to my own devices using the tripod and the timer.
Although I didn't have a chance to take any more

I just took
outfit photos after, ya know, living in it for a

While I am generally used to the curiosity of onlookers when I go out to do
outfit photoshoots, I've never taken my
photos in so blatantly a public place before.
Stylebook looks really cool and I can not wait to take
photos of my clothes so I can start putting together
outfits while I am waiting for appointments or watching tv.
Here are some tips I literally just invented right now
while looking at these
photos (and trying to decipher why this
outfit «worked» this time around), but the tips worked for me when I wore this problem dress, so maybe they'll help you too!
I stopped posting
outfit photos for a
while after gaining weight.

While we were in Seattle over the holidays I topped this all - black look with the grey jacket (so technically this

While it's awesome for
outfit photos, it was virtually impossible to shoot flat lays, travel shots, or lifestyle settings with since it is so tightly cropped.

photos... this is the

while I was back in the US last week for my nephew's baptism.
I paused
while packing to snap these
photos before dropping the whole thing into my suitcase, and I brought this one as a night - out
outfit.
But, we picked them up after
outfit photos were taken and somehow, I managed to not get a single
photo at the reception
while sporting my wings (which is usually the way when you're having way too much fun).
I've been loving my white sneaks for quite a
while now and the switch out of the white laces for black struck me as a great way to connect the shoes to the
outfit (even if I had to borrow them from my real trainers for the
photos because I forgot to buy new laces in time for the
photo shoot).
I sometimes feel bad asking people to take my
photos, so instead will announce, «Well, I've got my tripod, going to go take
outfit photos now...» Insert long pause
while I wait for the person I'm talking to to offer to take them.

I wore this
outfit to my mother - in - laws 50th Birthday lunch, and got a moment to steal away in the woods with my hubby
while he shot these
photos.
Of course,
while my husband was photographing all the pretty cars I made him take a few
photos of my
outfit as well.
I took the
photo before leaving for the conference because (a) I wanted to make sure the
outfit looked good (I wore it
while presenting and, hello, I'm vain); and (b) I wanted to have a decent
photo of it in case it did turn out nicely.
My best friend and I have always said we should take
photos of our
outfits everyday so that when we are older or in a few years when styles change we can look back to see what we were wearing - so this is sort of a more creative way to be able to do that
while sharing with others at the same time!
While we're being honest, I suppose I should say I wore this
outfit two days in a row and hadn't washed my hair when we took these
photos.
I don't know who exactly is to blame — the dress or the hat, but
