The team designed an algorithm that learns directly from human instructions, rather than an existing set of examples, and
outperformed conventional methods of training neural networks by 160 per cent.
The study found that organic practices
outperformed traditional
methods and chemical - intensive
conventional farming and also found strong environmental benefits such as improved soil fertility, better retention of water and resistance to drought.
