I've
written before about my love affair with the show and so with the advent
of a new Doctor, I've decided to simply geek it

out there trying to build an empire, be a minor Christian celebrity, or have people buuys there books, and follow them on Twitter as they tweet about what ind
of ice ream they at... hahaa.
Some practical points: If you're just starting
out, some opportunities that make a lot
of sense for platform - building include:
writing guest posts for popular bloggers who share a similar audience,
writing a regular column for a newspaper or online magazine, seeking
out speaking gigs (paid or unpaid), participating in conferences (for networking opportunities as well as exposure to new, inspiring ideas), using social media to share your message, and requesting interviews with popular authors / speakers / leaders to feature on your
blog.
I often
write to figure
out what I think, and I think I live a pretty seamless life between online and real - life, but some part
of me still wants to die
of embarrassment when someone in my real life actually brings up my
blog or my book.

blog, though I don't try all your recipes since I am a vegetarian and I do not get most
of the ingredients but I enjoy your
writing and it is like a tour
of Europe and USA for me through food, It's getting very hot here in India and I tried your coconut saffron ice cream (I have a coconut tree in my backyard) sans the ice cream machine, turned

Worrying about how I'm not making any money from my
blog and still doing all the work in creating recipes and
writing blog posts that connect with readers was sucking the soul
out of me.
There is so much talent
out there, but my favourites (not only because

Each time before I go food shopping I
write out a list - it's the only way I can possibly remember what I've run
out of and what I need to buy for client and
blog projects.
In typical DIY fashion, not being able to leave well enough alone, we figured
out how to improve our recipe,
write a
blog post and make a video
of this new discovery.
The first one was set for 4AM because I went to bed last night knowing I still had to
write and proofread and format this
blog post, and I wound up rolling
out of bed a little after 5.
I sat down and decided to finally start a
blog (after a couple years
of consideration, because that's how I roll) 3 years ago on Saturday, which makes no sense because it feels like just last week I was sitting at my old white MacBook, wrapped in a blanket because my old apartment was FREEZING, and freaking
out over what to
write about in my first post.
With the actual
blog, usually I try and stretch the process
of creating the recipe, photographing it, editing the photos and
writing the posts
out over a few days so it doesn't feel as congested — but sometimes time constraints mean I have to bang it all
out in one day.
This is my stock response when a reader hysterically blames a failed recipe on me, as all
of the recipes in my book and on my
blog are tested, and work if made as
written: «So sorry it turned
out that way for you.
these turned
out perfectly, and i made it into a zinger recipe
of sorts, and
wrote about it on my
blog.
Check

However, after realizing my passion for this
blog, sometimes all I need to do is climb
out of bed, grab my fuzzy house coat and place my fingers on the key pads and I am off in another world,
writing what ever exits my finger tips.
