Postwar Prints and Multiples is conceived as a dynamic platform for new research as students, faculty, and
outside curators examine and assess the works on view through a series of gallery talks.
Organized by artist Harrell Fletcher and Jens Hoffmann, Director, Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, CCA, and produced by Independent
Curators International (ICI), the traveling exhibition
examines the work of artists who operate
outside the MFA programs, commercial galleries, and major museums that make up the mainstream art world.
Combining a
curator who has worked extensively in Los Angeles for the last 10 years with someone from
outside the region, Moshayedi said, will help the program to
examine regional art in relation to national and international art scenes.
