Battle modes I encountered were Bomb Delivery, King
of the Hill, and Capture the Flag, however, when playing online it seems the type
of match is chosen at random, and I sadly did not come across a
Deathmatch outside of Skirmish mode for couch co-op.
Outside of the main Wartide mode you can also try out Capture the Flag, Domination and straight
Deathmatch and Team
Deathmatch modes, with the server browser allowing higher player counts than the standard 6v6.
The game does have a few different modes
outside of its Campaign and usual death match modes, and while the real meat
of the gameplay exists in its
deathmatches, playing things like Puzzle Mode can offer a nice change
of pace — giving you scenarios with limited resources or special conditions that you have to meet by using the tools at your disposal efficiently.
Outside of the single player games there is a free roaming mode and multiplayer modes including
deathmatch and trick attack
It would have been cool if the game included some Twisted Metal - style
deathmatches for players to participate in
outside of the campaign.
