For the crust:
Adjust oven rack to lower - middle position and heat oven to 325 degrees.
Bake at 350 degrees on lowest
oven rack for 35 - 40 minutes or until set.
Adjust the remaining
oven rack so it's positioned in the center of the oven.
Carefully flip bread directly
onto oven rack and bake for another 40 - 45 minutes, until very browned on outside, and sounds hollow when tapped.
Bake base on
center oven rack until lightly golden, about 15 minutes (maybe longer, depending on your oven).
Bake on the lower
oven rack until the crust begins to brown, about 25 minutes.
If you have a
wire oven rack, place the kale onto this then you wont need to turn the leaves over during cooking.
Bake for 20 - 30 minutes on a
centre oven rack until the bread can be carefully turned out of the tin.
Using warm oven at a tightly controlled (
oven rack thermometer) 125 degree temp allowed the dough to rise within 1/2 inch of top of bread loaf pan in 40 minutes.
Bake on a low
oven rack for about 50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
Always place clay pans on the
lowest oven rack for the bottom of the loaves to brown properly.
Preheat oven to 300ºF
with oven racks set in the top and bottom - third positions.
Move oven racks to upper and lower positions and place cookies and trimmed edges back in the oven.
Lay flat or drape over two prongs
of oven rack, making each into an inverted U-shape.

Rotate baking sheets 180 degrees AND
switch oven racks (bottom sheet moves to top, top to bottom) to promote even browning.
Partially pull the bottom
oven rack from the oven and place the baking sheet with the pie crust on it.
Preheating oven to 375 degrees (again verified
by oven rack thermometer) took an extra 15 minutes, during this time the dough rose to slightly over top of loaf pan and was ready for the oven.
Hi Alyssa, I would not recommend baking anything on the bottom
oven rack unless the recipe specifically calls for it — always bake on the center rack unless otherwise noted.
Bake cookies (2 sheets at a time) for 10 to 15 minutes, switching positions on
oven racks halfway through, until tops of cookies are cracked and fall just slightly when very lightly touched.
Slide the baking sheets onto the upper and lower
third oven racks and bake potatoes for 20 to 25 minutes.
(Place a foil lined pan on a lower
oven rack under the potatoes to catch any drips.)
Return the
first oven rack back into the oven sliding it into the top setting.
