oven at the lowest
temperature for a couple of hours.
Mine don't usually burn with these settings but of course bake them for less time on a low
temperature if they tend to burn more easily in your
oven x

An
oven thermometer is the best solution, but if you don't want to buy one and are willing to play around, I'd try adjusting the
temperature up by 5 ° for half a batch and see if that helps, or turning on the fan if your
oven has one.
Once the beef is
done remove from the
oven and check the internal
temperature.
That said, I find the second tray to be the most problematic because the
oven temperature fluctuates (at least it
does with my
oven) so it can be running too hot or too cool.
I
did the rise in my
oven with a pan of hot water to get the
temperature because I keep my house rather cool in the winter (62F).

If you don't want to take up
oven space, you can simply let it dry at room

You might want to check pan size or
oven temperature and make sure you take them out as soon as they test
done.

oven temperature was checked, double - checked, and triple - checked, so I don't think that was it... not sure what it was, but when I flipped the cake it was okay and then when I re-inverted it, it just went SPLAT!!!
By minimalist I mean a kitchen in a town whose one market doesn't carry parchment paper... a kitchen whose
oven temperature I can only guess at... where you make
do with the ingredients you have... where fingers substitute for a pastry brush... where the ellipsis has free rein....
If you're going to braise in the
oven, check the
temperature with your
oven thermometer, don't trust just what your
oven says on the dial; 5 degrees over 10 minutes isn't going to matter much, but 5 degrees over an hour and a half will make a big difference.
Then I dehydrate the almonds to dry them (can be
done in
oven at absolute lowest
temperature - i.e. not even up to the lowest temp reading on
oven.
Fats and oils will create a barrier to protect the delicate vegetables that don't have a thick skin, but not all fats are suited for the higher
temperatures associated with

Make sure to check the granola often during the last 15 - 30 minutes as
oven temperatures my vary and you don't want your granola to burn!
Bake about 35 - 40 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean (Note: cooking times and
oven temperatures may vary — don't skip the toothpick test!)
Sorry to hear that Ronit: — LRB - I've made these on numerous occasions now and they've always worked out so I think it must be to
do with the chickpea water you used and perhaps
oven temperature.
They will last about 5 days in an airtight container at room
temperature (if you don't devour them all straight out of the
oven).
If I don't have enough room in the fridge for the baking sheet for 4 days would I still need to refrigerate the baking sheet before putting in the
oven or can I just put the refrigerated dough on a room
temperature sheet?

If you don't have a microwave I recommend leaving it out at room
temperature until it gets almost to room
