He's the breakfast guy so he takes over in the kitchen for that.

The mix kept well in the fridge to use over the next few days, made it easy for a special weekday breakfast.

I prefer savoury foods for breakfast (actually, I like eating dinner left overs in the morning..)

You can make it on the weekends and then freeze in single - serving baggies and reheat for a quick weekday breakfast (microwave for 2 - 3 minutes, breaking it up halfway through) Or just have a bunch of people over and share the love in a messy kitchen.

It's fake health food at it's finest, and it's absolutely delicious served in a big bowl with milk and berries, eaten stranding at the counter over the container by the handful, or my personal favorite, as a topping for Greek yogurt and fruit for a wholly satisfying breakfast that's quick enough for any workday morning but also indulgent enough for a lazy Saturday.

I rarely eat toast too — in fact, pretty much never for breakfast (occasionally at other times)-- and would take these over cereal any day They look lovely!

When I returned home, I was surprised to see I had a few croissants left over and rather than toss them, I decided to use them in a delicious breakfast bread pudding.
