dogs will run from the plastic handle «chasing» them from behind and that could cause your
dog to run into traffic and die; h.) have resulted in injuries to
dogs and owners.
The
other major factor, unfortunately, is that a lot of
dog behavior advice in the media and popular culture still has a tendency to pin
most behavior issues on dominance, or conflicts
over social status — so it makes a certain amount of sense to think that by spaying or neutering the
dog and «taking them down a notch» in the pecking order, we might be able to fix the problem.
