Insanely delicious!!!!! Would just like to know if it is necessary to soak the
oats, chia seeds and flax seeds
over night or is it sufficient to do it in the morning and let it stand for 5/10 mins???? I noticed that because of the chia seeds the mixture gets thick very fast and already tastes delicious and ready
before I put it in the fridge overnight!
I soaked the
oats over night like stated and the
oats looked exactly the same as the night
before, uncooked wet oatmeal.
1) Pre-heat oven to 300 deg Fahrenheit (150 deg cel) 2) Line one large baking sheet (0r two medium baking sheets) with parchment paper 3) In a large bowl, combine the
oats, chia seeds, flax seeds, raisins, almonds and other nuts, and mix well 4) In a smaller bowl, whisk together the honey, light brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon until smooth and sugar has dissolved 5) Pour the honey mixture
over the dry ingredients and stir well until you get a homogeneous mixture 6) Pour the mixture
over the baking sheets and spread evenly with a spatula, then season lightly with sea salt 7) Bake for 15 minutes, then stir the granola gently (to make sure all sides are cooked) 8) At this point, you may need to switch the baking sheets (if you are using 2) so the granola cooks evenly 9) Bake for another 15 minutes, then stir again,
before cooking for a final 15 minutes or until golden brown 10) Remove granola from the oven and place on cooking racks until completely cool and crisp 11) Store granola in air - tight containers at room temperature.

before you try these!
Microwave
oats (or cook
over the stove - top) for about 3 - 4 hours and
before all of the liquid has been absorbed.
To top it all off I like to sprinkle this oatmeal with hemp seeds, which is a good source of plant protein, as well as some fresh or frozen berries, which makes a nice colour clash with the yellow
oats,
before pouring
over some more (plant) milk.
Before any of the
oats can be unloaded it must pass upto 3 tests (# 1 White board «Magnifying Glass Visual», # 2 RidaQuick test showing
over 10 ppm, and # 3 the Elisa R5 RidaScreen test that will show results down to 3 ppm).
Now, you can either make the apple pie filling the night
before like the
oats and then warm it up in the morning, or you can make it in the morning and spoon the fresh mixture all
over your
oats.
