This is a question that I've been asked intermittently
over the years; to train the whole body or to choose a
split routine?
With The Full Body Training Advantage Part 1, you learned the reasons why I prefer full - body
routines over splits.
If you do a pretty normal 4 day
split routine with a combo of isolation and compounds and with not much cardio besides just walking, then your probably need an additional 300grams
over the course of the week to replenish what you used on TOP of the glucose needs I stated above.
It might also be a good idea to
split up feedings
over the course of the day instead of all at once — though, once again, this depends on the dog and on your personal
routine.
Over 18 months old only one meal per day is required, however, often it works best to
split the meals into two smaller feeds, given morning and evening, as this can help to settle the dog better. You must decide what is best for your dog; your own daily
routine andthe amount of exercise your dog is having, so that you can feedthem accordingly.
They follow set
routines, but sometimes they'll surprise you by suddenly looking
over their shoulder or sneezing, giving you a
split second to dash safely past.
