Gently dollop half of cheese
mixture over bottom of crust, then spread into an even layer with an offset spatula (don't press too hard or you will break the crust).
Scatter 1 1/2 ounces of grated cheese in an even layer
over the bottom of the crust.
Sprinkle cornmeal evenly
over bottom of crust, then top with 1/2 cup cheese.
Make the filling: Spread the sour cream evenly
over the bottom of the crust.
