While Death Road to Canada is about killing zombies and technically doesn't even take place in Canada, a game with Canada in the title, where a vehicle drives in, often running
over zombies as it enters or leaves, is s one of those associations that's best avoided by a publisher with an otherwise non-controversial game.

It's not simply yesterday's game, but a time capsule from 2011, a time when

as Far Cry 3 and Borderlands 2 weren't around to cast their long shadows

Especially
as the action shifts from the Company of Dwarfs and Bilbo,
over to Gandalf's own semi-solo adventure then to various battles between elves and orcs which act
as a sort of martial arts
zombie movie on the side.
Dead Rising has been one of the most durable and consistently enjoyable
zombie franchises around, and one that has managed to define itself
as the de-facto
zombie game series
over many years.
Dead Rising 3 excels at what it does best, which is mainly killing
zombies in deeper ways
as your undead - slaying skills grow
over the game.
There's obviously a great deal of CGI at work here in the larger attacks on entire cities, but one scene in particular in Jerusalem, in which the
zombies instinctively use each other
as a ladder to scramble
over a giant wall that's (supposedly) a fool - proof means of keeping them out, is especially spectacular.

over as many
zombies as possible within a set time limit.
The film's best idea is to present the

over one another in complete disregard of personal space.
