I would also say that just
the overall arcade feel of the game wasn't necessarily translated all that nicely into the visual experience of the game.

Blackbean have split their game down the middle with a rather odd
feeling Arcade mode which takes away rather than adds to the
overall game, however for fans of realism the Simulator mode is an amazing experience with a great handling model that requires skill to master on the highest level.
While the gameplay and
overall feel of the game are clearly inspired by the
arcade classic, the updated visuals, VR specific design concepts, and innovative features like a multiplayer co-op mode that takes advantage of the mics built into the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, ensure the game
feels fresh.
If you were expecting a huge shift change between this and the previous version, you'll be disappointed, but the
overall feel strikes a balance between simulation and an
arcade while erring on the side of reality.
Overall, Thunder Wolves does what any classic
feeling arcade game does: it will provide you with quick sessions of fun as you destroy everything in sight, but in the end it provide only that — quick, forgettable sessions.
There is still plenty it could improve upon that would enhance the
overall feel, but it is a solid mix of
arcade and sim Baseball.
