But, both Autumn and Spring have a warm undertone - Spring is Light, Warm and Bright; Autumn is Deep, Warm and Muted - so you could have been slotted into one of them because there was nowhere else to put you if the consultant didn't understand about the Tonal color families.

If your consultant doesn't understand the Tonal color families, then the MUTED / SOFT color family is often wrongly determined as Soft Autumn or Soft Summer.

The Tonal color families are quite simple to explain - it's just when one color characteristic is stronger than the others - so it's easier to feature in the Color Quiz.

Long Vertical Line Also, keep your vertical line long to complement your body shape by going for monochromatic and tonal color combinations.

The Seasons have fabulous color palettes but if you do not fit into the specifics it's better to look at the Tonal color families and identify your ONE primary characteristic.
