Hard dog food is better than soft on a daily basis as well as the occasional chew treats (given
under owner supervision).
Small dogs should be out only in fenced yards,
with owner supervision, walked on a leash, or in enclosed kennels with a roof.
Recreational bones such as beef or bison femurs are safer to chew on due to their softness, but they still
require owner supervision.
