Ozil to me is the CAM counterpart of Claude Makelele who's been one of the best DM's to ever play football but was very unappreciated at Real and was more given the respect he deserved at Chelsea.

Cazorla could also be an option to start, but I would prefer him on one of the wings (even though he is better at CAM) only because he is better on the wings than Ozil and someone has to fill those spots.

Play players in the right position as for transfers there's no point unless wenger is willing to except that xhaka and ozil are failures and Ramsey ain't a CM which would mean buying 2 CM's then either drop ozil or play 4231 and put him at CAM role!

Off topic anyone notice how ozil was used on the left wing last season and the first part of this season and he was under performing fans and pundits were all saying how wenger should build the team around ozil since that was his best position and he cost us 42m well since his return he has only played either cam or right wing (he said in a interview that those were his fav positions since he played them at real) taking the place of an in form cazorla and it all seems to work I think wenger has done this all on purpose because if u look at ozils overall performance after his injury its much better than before, he tackles, wins the ball back and covers more distance than anyone else wenger does this often using players out of position for a while only to make their overall game better and mostly it works genius

Mesut Ozil has never been d strongest in d field, but give him the right Protection at the back, fast & experience goal poacher in his front, play him in his CAM, then, watch your team destroy defenses.

so basically, we either have ozil + ramsey on the field, or wilshire + X, but wilshire doesn't play well when ramsey is on, and ozil doesn't play well when wilshire is at the # 10 CAM spot

And since we certainly can't bench Ozil for Ramsey and we equally need to play Ozil and Carzola together, the only option left is to use Ramsey as a sub for Carzola, or bring him in at the 70th minute when Ozil burns out to play the B2B role while Carzola moves into the playmaker / CAM role.
