FILMS Next Day Air (R for violence, drug use, pervasive profanity and brief sexuality) Action - oriented crime caper about the comedy of errors which ensue after a couple of hapless hoodlums (Mike Epps and Wood Harris) are mistakenly delivered a large
package filled with bricks of pure cocaine.
As usual, however, the Blu - ray
package makes a collectible of even a minor Pixar effort for enthusiasts: it's positively festooned with extras, from techie features on the production design and Randy Newman's bouncy score to, of course, the short
film The Blue Umbrella, a sleekly designed, inanimate - object romance that you'll either find enchanting or insipid.
An odd note on the back of the case, absent from the 2000 DVD, calls this a «digital transfer of the director's cut,» but as there are no visible changes in the
film itself and no follow - up notes anywhere within the
packaging, I have no idea what, if anything,
makes this version different from the theatrical release.
I really liked The Void, it's a fun
film that provides several solid scares in a familiar feeling
package, but different enough to
make it a worthy addition to the canon.
A terrifically solid and sturdy effort across the board, «Bluebird» is the real deal and a true
package of strong collaborators coalescing to
make a wonderful debut
film.
All in all, it's a
package that should
make fans pretty darn happy, at least until a 4K restoration of the
film (don't hold your breath).
The
film is a rousing entertainment with catchy music and terrific choreography; it's just that the Bollywood touches are
made all the more palatable for the Western viewer through familiar, comfortable
packaging.
Though the
packaging curiously
makes no mention of it whatsoever, this edition does also include a DVD of the
film.
Packaged alongside the winning
film it never approaches living up to, it
makes for a benign inclusion in an appealing, low - priced 2 - disc collection.
Arrow Video also carts over nearly everything from the
film's many previous releases, but also adds some new stuff into the mix,
making for a massively satisfying supplementary
package.
The
package also includes that original Blu - ray Disc, which offers the
film in 1080p, the commentary, 4 deleted scenes (4:25 in all — HD), and the 5 - part Promise of a New World: The
Making of Oblivion documentary (includes Destiny, Voyage, Combat, Illusion, and Harmony — 48 minutes in all — HD).
Sometimes, nutrition comes in unlikely
packages — but before we
make this subversive animated
film sound like a pile of spinach, know that, for the most part, it's exactly the R - rated single - entendre sex fest the title implies.

It might be the most harmless raunch - com ever
made, a mash - up of several other mediocre relationship
films (and one baby
film) rolled into one profane
package.
The supplement
package includes audio commentary by director Martin Brest and three fairly engaging featurettes (a half hour

film's score and on the casting process - the latter delving into the replacement of Sylvester Stallone by Murphy).
The only thing I regret is that their book trailer
package at Create Space is so expensive and you can't lower the cost by providing your own images, something that a lot of indie
