Here, his score functions as something like the sieve
of the
page — watching a film with his soundtrack suggests an approximation
of the literal detachment

book; as Candyman unfurls, defenses fall away and the fable - like quality

story gains a kind
of archetypal weight.
Initially you're only given part
of a
story arc, flicking the Vita's screen like the

Based on the first King novel written after the author was smeared across a Maine highway by a man who would later kill himself in a trailer, the
book is a fine short
story trapped in the body

Besides having a name that, in itself, could have come straight out
