Google today announced a significant change in how it ranks websites for mobile searches: it will now take
page speed into consideration as one of its signals, the company says.
Not only do page load speeds greater than 3 seconds lead to reduced conversion rates, fewer page views, and a worse user experience, Google actually takes
page speed into account now when ranking results.
