Last week's Style Imitating Art choice by Salazar was a lovely 19th century painting featuring two young girls, loads of greenery, and spring flowers.

A Goldman hanging lamps illuminates a dark stained accent table placed beneath a tan art piece mounted to wall painted in Sherwin Williams Relaxed Khaki in a wonderfully appointed country style boy's bedroom.

The wooden frame in white chalk paint gives a shabby chic style, while the silk potpourri overlapping with the sunflower adds a touch of elegance to the whole art piece.

When Jen picked this painting for this week's Style Imitating Art challenge I admit I was stumped.

I honestly wore this outfit way before Salazar chose this week's Style Imitating Art paintings, but I think it still works really well with her choice, specifically «Autumn ``.

This was another instance where I put together an outfit (based on this pin, actually) and realized after the fact that it fit with the Style Interpreting Art theme since Salazar chose a painting with neutral colors for this week's inspiration.
