Getting this look from Creatures of Comfort is messy: after
painting on a
base coat of polish, pour a mix of fine glitter across each nail, changing the colors
as you go.
Using an oil
based paint, put one
coat on all of the risers,
as well
as any trim.
I also
painted 2
coats of a white polish
as a
base underneath so that these bright colors would show up.
I am very familiar with chalk
paint and
as I've said in other comments, I no longer use wax to seal, but instead water
based top
coats, however like you I do from time to time use wax
as a last step
as a «polish» for extra an extra sheen for pieces that I want the top to pop.
All of the side trim is brand new and was recently installed.The wheels were professionally sandblasted and
painted with Argent Silver
base coat / clear
coat and have brand new center caps, brand new trim rings, and brand new 33x12.50 x15» BFGoodrich All Terrain tires.The grille is in great shape,
as well
as the front bumper.

coats of Behr close knit on the walls it was time to measure and cut the wood trim for the
base molding
as well
as the crown molding.
Another trick to hide the pencil lines (of not using the same - colour -
as - the - lines trick, I rolled over them with a
coat of
paint (same

paint as a quick

base coat with the stencil
painted in white.
I prefer to use a leftover custom mix
as a
base coat when I'm layering
paint.
Since we plan to layer
paint on this buffet you should be fine with only one
coat as a
base coat.
