Let
the paint cure at least for 24 hours or whatever the brand states on the can before adding another coat.
Let
your paint cure for longer before distressing.
The entire process took like 2 days and that was mostly because I had to let
the paint cure.
Once the trim is painted, we will need to be careful of it, both while it is drying and for the next couple of weeks as
the paint cures.
Since we are taking a 10 day vacation I thought it would be a good time to let
the paint cure, with no traffic.
Once done - let
the paint cure for a day or so.
The paint itself cures rock hard and won't rub off on your skin or clothing.
I've decided to hang on to this piece until
the paint cures just to be on the safe side.
The globe is fully erasable once you let
the paint cure so have some fun with it!
