It's without a doubt one of our favorite
paints, and we use it
on everything from small projects like frames to large furniture
makeovers.
I started by giving the bottom a coat of homemade chalk
paint in a mix of sage green and cobblestone from Country Chic

We began the staircase
makeover by priming the oak handrails and
painting them black (since we could do that without a near death experience dangling over a staircase), followed by the stripes
on the wall because I was dying for a little more character and personality at my house.
Right now I am working
on a living room
makeover and have tons of unfinished projects like
painted furniture and I need to make some drapes!

Even though the chalk
paint seems expensive most
paints are these days and when you consider the total
makeover you may have to spend $ 150
on paint and supplies which is a drop in the bucket compared to paying someone else to do it.

They're still white, but I'm going to
paint the fireplace so they all match — eventually I was actually lucky enough to have Layla «pick my presto» once, though I still haven't moved
on the
makeover yet.
Kev's been working
on our master bathroom while I've been confined to the couch, and although it's not a major
makeover (more like a «
paint bucket special» - ha!)
This is such a simple kitchen
makeover with a little
paint and tile and a new sink, it isn't like I'm putting in something super crazy or trendy or adding
on some horrific 1970s style addition to my home (which is what I had to UNDO in my old house!)!

I replaced the mirror (twice), found some new art, added a few décor items,
painted the vanity (more
on that this week) and gave the vanity light fixture a quick & inexpensive
