Then I used my stencil brush and off loaded the extra
paint on a paper towel and swirled the brush around the stencil in a circular motion.
In this case, I was using so little that I just dipped my brush in water before I touched the paint and then blotted off the excess
paint on a paper towel.
Use a pouncing motion and remove some of
the paint on a paper towel or newspaper.

paint off, but it soaked right into the raw wood and worked beautifully without having to use the

Some of Eitel's most recent works have become markedly more abstract, accompanying his growing interest in formal composition, like
paintings in which figures disappear altogether: a pile of cloth strewn across the floor, a cot with rumpled sheets,

I was able to get the
paint off with a damp

To dry brush you want to dip your brush in
paint and lightly off load
on a
paper towel so that your brush is almost dry.
To drybrush, lightly dip the brush in
paint and then dab the brush
on a clean cloth or
paper towel to remove most of the
paint.
Dip your brush in the
paint, and then blot it
on the rag or
paper towel, leaving little
paint on the brush.
With one hand, press the stencil into the edge of the wall and with the other, dab your brush in
paint, dab it
on a
paper towel and then begin to fill in your stencil.
Using your angled brush... dab it in your
paint and then dab it
on your
paper towel to remove the excess
paint.
