paint recipe because Plaster of Paris is toxic, carcinogenic to be specific and although I've heard it works great, I didn't want to get into it.

I really like Annie Sloan
paint although I am experimenting with your calcium carbonate / P of P
recipe, but the primary reason I use A S is
because of the simple prep before
painting.
Further question — how much
paint and other «ingredients» did you use in the end for this project, and can you give me the ratio in which you mixed the whole batch,
because the
recipe seems to be for a very small quantity of
paint?
I can't wait to try your
recipe for homemade chalk
paint,
because cost effective, but also the colors available in latex
paint.
Diane, Thanks for the quick reply, I used less PoP than the
recipe because I was afraid it might bind up the
paint.
But
because of all the wonderful experiments you have done with all the DIY
recipes, I will be attempting to use chalk
paint first thing next week!
