The custom cabinets are
painted in Benjamin Moore's Mohegan Sage while the fir
beadboard is a golden brown — giving the 75 - square - foot spot a jewel box feel.
We did a blue
beadboard ceiling in our screened porch and I loved it so much that I ended up
painting the ceilings in my living and dining rooms blue, too!
It's got ridges, just like real
beadboard, and when you apply it to wood (and
paint it), it look and feels just like real
beadboard paneling.
I've got this idea to use a collection of various antique plates on the wall above the bench - starting on the
beadboard panelling below the chair rail, and stretching all the way up onto the
painted blue wall above.

So in the last 3 days I:
Painted my countertops, restained my island, repainted my cabinets, and installed
beadboard backsplash.
I used that
beadboard wallpaper for a cheap fix kitchen backsplash and, with a coat of
paint, it's held up fine for two years.
With the gift card I would buy some
Beadboard Wallpaper to put up in my dining room under the chair rail... I'd also buy some
paints for my upcoming Laminate Countertop

paint the front it Sea Salt (by SW).

beadboard wallpaper is that it's embossed to feel just like real wood
beadboard, so once it's
painted, no one will ever know it's not the real thing!
