The second longitudinal crease in the giant hood stamping disappears at the front but aligns with the curious
painted piece below the opening cutline, giving more visual length to the hood.

There is major plan view chamfering so the car is aerodynamically efficient, but the hood centerline is as long as possible, enhanced by the

The strongest

below) incorporates what looks like a still from his Trash Humpers (2009) film and smothers it in large, haphazard streaks of industrial
paint.

On the
piece below, I used our American Paint Company all natural chalk and clay
paints — a previous limited edition color yellow as the base layer, then a raised stencil using our Texture Plaster Neutral, over top (when dry) the popular APC color Shoreline, sanded back (when dry) to reveal the pretty detail --
I knew the design I would draw (more on that
below) and decided for this
piece I did not wish any chipping to occur which milk
paint so characteristically does when applied to a previously - finished
piece.
Meaning when I
paint in the traced lettering on the
piece below — I am not concerned about uniform coverage of
paint since I am going to «age» this
piece by distressing it with sand paper and use Dark Wax once done.
