tape so I can get it off the jar
so easily.

so many creative and simple ways to use
painter's
tape around the house.

Not only should you close grates, but try putting a piece of fabric or paper over them using
painter's blue

tape a wide stripe down the middle, planning out the width
so there's room to paint the Provence Olive Border Stencil on top of the wide stripe.

so far!
Also, make sure you wait until the sealer on your countertop is cured (
so like 72 hours) before you put
painters tape on it... it WILL pull up the sealer.

I not only removed a few excess things and slid furniture around to try it in new ways, but my daughter Courtney started marking up the wall with

How did you paint the stripe colors yellow n aqua back to back or did you have to wait for one of the colors to completely dry
so that the
painters tape doesn't rip off the paint.

You could use
painters tape here to perfectly measure your lines, but we were going for a more organic look,
so I decided to freehand it.
I didn't measure or level the cloud stencils, I wanted it to look a bit random
so I just eyed it, using
painters tape to hold them in place.
They ended up being a little wider than the 1 inch ScotchBlue ™

Tape so I doubled up and over lapped.
I hate to
tape stuff — I am much more of a freestyle decorative
painter —
so I have postponed doing this design.
