I bought glow in the dark
paint to let my girls use on their
pumpkins and they are
so so excited!
I had four
pumpkins,
so I
painted two in Whisper (right) and the other two in Everlasting (left).
I had planned to do a gold, orange, and an almond colored
pumpkin, but my brand new almond spray
paint decided to not work,
so I improvised.
Books are always my decorating weapon of choice,
so I stacked a few with the hues of the season, and topped them with a simple gold
painted pumpkin.
What a clever little «poem» and cute pictures too, and the
painted pumpkin pillow is
so pretty.

I am
SO excited to
paint some
pumpkins.
My apartment isn't exactly conducive to
pumpkin carving,
so I opted for a cleaner project and
painted my
pumpkin patch with some neon pink
paint and my favorite patterns: stripes and polka dots!
As the
paint dries, you can lightly spread it around the
pumpkin so that there are areas that are very light.
They are
so elegant and happen to fit nicely with my new
pumpkin vase:) I got a couple of those mini white
pumpkins I mentioned earlier and
painted them in the same way, except I used painters tape instead of aluminum foil.
Hold the
pumpkin so that the surface where you are
painting is flat
so that the
paint doesn't drip too much.
I would've loved these
pumpkins even without the mud cloth patterns because the chalk
paint looks
so good.
So this was my first time
painting pumpkins by hand, and already we're at tip # 1: Use a dabbing motion to apply the
paint to the
pumpkin.
And the gold was a little intense,
so I dry - brushed the
pumpkins with some white DecoArt craft
paint, to tone down the gold a little.
So instead of placing pretty die cut letters on my giant candy bucket
pumpkin, I used FolkArt's vibrant purple
paint to hand
paint the words «Eat More Candy».
So, this year I decided to
paint my
pumpkins.
I am known to
paint pumpkins every year,
so this year I couldn't wait to try out Annie Sloan's Chalk
Paint on them!
A friend got real crafty paiting
pumpkins so I exchanged 3 dozen eggs (I raise chickens in my back yard) for 3
painted pumpkins!!
I just happened to have this
pumpkin and spray
paint hanging around
so this project cost me $ 0!
By the time I finished
painting on the white, the
paint was nearly dry,
so I peeled off all the sections of the stencil, leaving me with the cutest little patterned
pumpkin you ever did see!

I don't like a lot of clutter in the kitchen especially,
so I didn't do much in here, but I did add some cotton stems in my milk bottle vases and one of my little chalk
painted pumpkins to create a simple Fall vignette.
I've been itching to play with milk
paint since attending the retailer training earlier this week,
so why not test some custom mixed colors on a few
pumpkins?
Even though milk
paint has a lot of variation in the color, the
pumpkins looked a little flat once
painted,
so I went for the wax.
Your

pumpkins as tic tac toe pieces, I was going to need to remove the sticks from the bottom, but I knew they would be easier to
paint with the sticks in place -
so I opted not to remove them just yet.
The
painted pumpkins are
so sweet and the pale blue is gorgeous!
I only wanted to
paint the orange part of the
pumpkins, leaving the stems their natural brown color,
so I covered the stems in aluminum foil to keep the spray
paint off of them.
