For the longest time, I really didn't
feel like
fancy shorts were a «thing» — maybe because I've only ever really worn jean shorts in the summertime -LCB- and to be totally honest, I've pretty much had one
pair of jeans I've worn religiously over the last 2 + years -RCB-.
Or, if none of the above tickle your
fancy then try and sport a
pair of Chelsea boots for a classic and timeless
feel.
When I'm in a rush, my number one process for picking out an outfit is to grab the first dress I see, throw on a neutral
pair of boots (or patterned slip ons if I'm
feeling fancy), and pray it all comes together.
I bought a
pair a little while back and I
felt like I had to wear them with
fancier clothes and you just showed me that's not the case.
I
paired it with some snakeskin effect heels a pop of raspberry with the clutch and lips and some
fancy pants earings, and i
felt like a lady!
There's the obvious V - neck jumper and button up shirt combination, but after seeing that destroyed in the cliche of middle manager fashion, you might
fancy avoiding it, unless you
feel like
pairing it with a stylish
pair of patterned trousers and smart brogues to give you that fashion edge.
If you're
feeling a little
fancy, serve on top of grilled fish tacos or keep it simple and
pair with chips, guacamole and, obviously, frozen margaritas.
When I'm
feeling fancy, I throw on a simple dress like this one and a
pair of comfortable shoes.
I
feel it's a bit too
fancy for jeans so I'm brainstorming ideas on
pairing this with wide leg trousers.
i actually just wore them to work with a
pair of black pumps and a blouse and totally
felt office appropriate despite also
feeling like i was in a
fancier pajama pant.
I don't have many items in my wardrobe that are super
fancy, but I do have a
pair of ankle boots with gold glitter at the heel which always make me
feel great on a night out:)
