Pour can into
the pan along with the tomato sauce.
Add the olive oil and garlic to
the pan along with the tomatoes.

After the vegetables have simmered for 30 minutes, add the beef and all
pan juices from the skillet to the stock pot,
along with the potatoes,
tomato paste, bay leaf, and 4 cups of beef or chicken stock.

Empty the drained black beans into the

pan along with a a vibrant sauce made from chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chargrilled fresh poblano pepper (you can substitute another pepper if needed / desired),
tomato, garlic, onion, and seasonings.
