A dressing is easily made in the same
pan as the bacon with a splash of apple cider, apple cider vinegar and whole grain mustard.
& mushrooms In the same fry
pan as the bacon, saute the diced onion, peppers & mushrooms until soft.
Place the burgers in the same
pan as the bacon over medium / high heat for approximately 3 - 4 minutes per side for medium.

Given that
bacon is often cited
as the animal product which meat free eaters most hanker after, vegetarians and MFM supporters will be hoping this is more than just a flash in the
pan.
I made this recipe
as written, except I doubled it and sauteed the cabbage for the Colcannon in my
bacon pan instead of microwaving.
Fry the

as a saute
pan with high sides, cook
bacon.
I was amazed at how pliable these are and used them
as bread pieces for avocado /
bacon / lettuce / tomato sandwiches (I used very little oil on the
pan so they weren't greasy to the touch).
As the
pan gradually heats up, the fat will render slowly, allowing the
bacon to cook evenly.
As you can see in this photo, you can also cut the
bacon before you get it in the
pan, where it'll cook faster.

Put the
bacon slices on the baking sheet

When
bacon is golden and looks completely cooked, remove from oven and lay on cooling racks (otherwise
as it cools, it will get stuck to the
pan) to cool completely.
Since
bacon is a meat that's fried in a
pan at high heat, there will be small amounts of carcinogenic HCA's, but
as I've mentioned before, if you're also having some high antioxidant tea or coffee with your meal, along with some veggies and / or avocado, you'll have plenty of antioxidants to counteract the HCA's in your body.

As I put the
bacon in my cast iron
pan to begin to cook it I reread the recipe to see it was meant to be baked and only partially at that.
Whereas,
as I remember it at least, the Brits will have a
pan of fat from the obligatory
bacon that preceded all the egging (not to mention the possibility of black pudding, fried bread, bangers et al.), whereupon the technique is to keep spooning or spatula - ing the hot fat over the egg until something like an even cook is achieved.
