Over the weekend, I made this in a tart
pan and the bottom crust did not cook properly toward the
middle (bottom close to the outside was fine.)
I poked holes in the bottom of the cake before pouring the glaze so it really gets into the
middle instead of just pooling around the outside, and I added it all to the cake while still in the
pan, instead of reserving some to pour
over the top (which is what caused the sticky mess in the original recipe).
Finally, quickly soft fry an egg (
over medium heat with 1 Tbs of olive oil in the
pan, add your eggs, let them cook until they become golden on the bottom, then flip them and let them cook for just a minute more, ensuring the
middle is still runny) and add the egg to the top of each sandwich.
Once the chicken and the onions are done, get out the largest platter you have and pile the chicken right in the
middle of it, then dump the juices from the
pan over the top and scoop the onion topping out and surround the chicken with it.
Crack the eggs
over the tomato mixture, one in the
middle and 5 around the edges of the
pan.
Melt coconut oil in fry
pan and cook patties
over medium heat about 6 minutes each side or until they are no longer pink in the
middle.
Add more oil to
pan and cook chicken
over medium heat, until golden brown on the outside and no longer pink in the
middle.
Pour batter into cake
pan (
over apples) and bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until a fork inserted in the
middle comes out clean.

I cleared some space in the
middle of the
pan to make the roux, but sprinkling the flour
over the whole
pan worked well also.
The topping makes a ton (something I'm rather fond of) but if you find it too much for your liking you can make a streusel layer in the
middle by spooning half the batter into the bottom of the
pan, then sprinkling half the streusel
over that.
Remove the
pan out of the fridge and pour the chocolate
over the
middle layer spreading it evenly.
I baked them for
over 40 minutes in a 8 × 8
pan and they were still raw in the
middle.
