Well if you know the oil is
leaking from the bolt on the
pan I'd say you obviously don't have a good
seal.
Assuming the case is not cracked, the
leak points are chiefly the cooling lines that go to and from the radiator, the oil
pan seal, the output shaft
seals, the torque converter (input)
seal, and...
BMW reports if a transmission fluid
leak appears to be traced to the transmission oil
pan area, inspect the Mechatronic
sealing sleeve's O - rings.
There are oil
leaks on the valve covers, rear main
seal, and the oil
pan.
We took care of the oil
leaks by replacing the oil
pan, front crank case
seal and the two side covers.
