Otherwise, I'll keep on going to half price
books precisely because the price points aren't there for electronic publishing to make it worth my time, and I honestly don't have the funds to pay for more than a handful
of trade
paperback book editions.
There are
books I am waiting for,
books I would really like to read but can't, e.g. because a publisher has cancelled a series,
books that are not yet available in the format I prefer (e.g. I'm waiting for the
paperback edition of Green),
books that are e-book only, etc... But I don't go around attacking the authors and punishing them with one - star reviews.
And what all four
of these
books have in common (besides being mystery and thrilled novels) is the fact that their Kindle
editions are priced significantly lower than their
paperback editions, whereas that's not the case for the authors» earlier
books from other publishers.
