Parallel Contemporary Art and the Saatchi Gallery team up with AIA Vietnam Life Insurance to present the major exhibition «AIA Vietnam Eye» and a book on contemporary Vietnamese art.

The exhibition is presented in parallel with Long Game, a new solo exhibition by Merlin James opening at Boxes Art Museum on the same date.

The two - person exhibition «Slipstream» explores the parallel use of botanical imagery and motifs with abstracted and geometrical elements in both by Ken Buhler's and Ellen Driscoll's paintings and works on paper.

The exhibition explores the significant influence of these two exemplary artists on modern art and contemporary life, focusing on the parallels, intersections and points of difference between the two artists» practices.

That exhibition space is treated as a «dimension,» a sort of parallel universe where the laws of rationality and logic are not necessarily observed — or so it is conceived by Costa Rican painter Federico Herrero who, through his site - specific intervention, will offer his imagining of portals and what lies on the other side.
