of progression to the game, and the visual changes that come from building better versions
of your gear and
upgrading are nice to behold.
Meanwhile, sets
of weapon parts can be found around the island that constitute a serious
upgrade if you gather together all three components and put them together, turning your regular shoddy bow into a more powerful recurve bow, or your basic pistol into a more kickass tactical pistol.
Some
weapons can't be equipped by certain characters, but for the most
part upgraded gear can be swapped over to another character and thus there's no risk
of finding yourself entering the fray with a weaker Autobot.
The game will have players venturing across different worlds, battling mutated foes through «dynamic, fast - paced action» and utilizing «an arsenal
of living
weapons — genetic heroes with different combat abilities — and
upgrade them with tens
of thousands
of collectible body
parts and armor.»
In fact, the most difficult
part of the game is figuring out whether to
upgrade your ship's
weapons or defenses with the money you accumulate over time.
During the day, you can gallivant around the world gather food, wood, various items, recipes which allow you to combine items to make prototypes

upgraded by initially building a science machine, and those which follow).

New Game Plus is unlocked after completing the story on any difficulty level in which new features such as gear, outfits and weaponry will be introduced, while the quantity
of weapon parts and green gel are increased during the next playthrough to assist in
upgrading Sebastian's abilities, although players will receive greater rewards for completing the story on a harder difficulty level.
Also, each piece
of equipment can be
upgraded several stages using the same

upgrade such as synaptic focus in which concentrating during aiming slows down town costs 75,000 green gel, while red gel is required to unlock certain
upgrade paths for Sebastian; therefore resulting in Sebastian's
upgrades being as complex to collectively attain than
weapon upgrades, especially given that green gel is mostly collected from enemies that Sebastian has defeated.
Your ice axes, bow, handgun, rifle and shotgun can all be
upgraded by finding
parts and animal skins, though some special
weapons require you to find certain crates, which contain a
part of it.

upgrade towns for better prices and stock, build a bestiary, take
part in an arena to test your might, and much more.
Much
of the precision you'd expect to find in the aforementioned action - based shooters is absent here, and with
weapon upgrades that improve things like accuracy percentage it's fair to surmise that
part of your ability to gun down foes is being handled under the hood.
With a little bit
of exploration, you'll be able to find materials to
upgrade your
weapons or even find large crates containing
weapon parts, find them all and you'll unlock new variants
of your
weapons such as an SMG or a Compound Bow.
