One thing that's been fascinating to watch over past few months has been the flare - up of brief discussions among both friends and strangers related to
particular pieces of information posted on Facebook — usually a status update, but sometimes an event or profile wall comment.

of the premium Ultimate Reward cards (non-Freedom) to have the option
of transferring into their airline and hotel partner programs.
One twist is the division
of all categories by nature into «info -
posts» and «essays»: the former, the default aspect, would be short or shortish
posts simply sharing
information or brief opinions, the latter longer
pieces that might explain, rant, persuade, etc. etc. (I'd propose only showing the main category names on the sidebar, leaving the split into info -
posts and essays to be revealed and pursued on the
particular category archive page; the precise category, though — e.g. finding or finding [essay] would appear at the bottom
of a
post on finding.
I happen to know for a fact that one
particular discount brokerage which offered mere
postings, charged their fee up front before even one
piece of information was forwarded and thereafter, an amount for every time the listing had to be edited.
