He will go
out and buy yet
again some midfield player who's natural tendency is to want to play in the middle of the park (Ramsey, Wilshire, Santi, Ozil, Rosicky, Arteta) and try to convert him into something else just to fit him into his starting 11 resulting into a team of players capable of
passing the ball but incapable of being dangerous.

This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play
out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even
pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly
out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs
out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played
out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a
passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once
again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Any side with a Sanchez replacement is an improvement on a side with S... 80 % of the time our guys seek him
out as receiver of their
pass and then S proceeds to lose the ball in one of his regularly failing dribbles, or he proceeds to
pass the ball anywhere only to lose the ball
again.
Watch how Mustafi used to
pass the ball to Cazorla and he used to carry it
out of our half then compare that to how Xhaka will play the ball back
again or a sideways
pass or just outright lose the ball and then pressure put right back onto the CBs.
My suggestion is that if Sanchez can learn that, he has the potential to do it much better than giroud does because he is faster off the mark and can dribble.he's too honest in his running so I disagree with those that think it's the set up of the team that failed him.his movement is still a little naive for the premier league Secondly on the left wide argument.Wenger is jamming attacking midfielder
out there so as to provide cover for the defensive midfielder using two box to box battlers.it only makes sense because we have lots of them and it can be effective if well mastered.the catch is sacrificing a winger for the the attacking midfielder.if your memory serves you well you'll remember that artetas downward spiral began when teams noticed he was the hub for our possession and started deploying their number 10 to press him.it's been working for ages and can be used on any defensive midfielder regardless of the size so You'll end up with your much cried for cavarlho, kedihra, bender, schneiderline, and every other one
passing sideways and backward because of the pressure so I personally appreciate the innovative move but
Again appeal to Ramsey and Wilshire to take their job more serious.
Again since his introduction into d team, our tactics as changed and its more of soakin pressure wch makes in very difficult to play the ball
out, I will like to knw the
pass completed percentage by both santi and ozil in the same period wch le coq has been on the pitch....
It's draining we lost to spurs but more over than anything the way we lost was embarrasseing and shocking we were played off park most game that has concern us as fans spurs bullied us
out played us hungry in every department it's has fall with wenger when is time when he just accepts game has
passed him matter of fact it has
passed us arsenal fans aswell no control in middle very poor from xhaka and elneny and
again dembele bought mortgage in midfield he's the owner my god vieria would of knocked he's house down but look we're very poor and away from home sad really how wenger keeps he's job is just pure stupidity but not just with today's results over all away from home we're relegation side go get Enrique before Chelsea get him and let but of class and youth take our great club back before Tottenham spuds leave us so far behind we won't even complete this series lack lustrous club
Kos was class last night always looking to
pass forward and drive forward from the back and he got the same as ramsey: / Ozil once
again showing his class Walcott worked hard as well BFG actually good game against top opposition without getting caught
out to far up field Bellerin needs to concentrate a bit more on his defending of late but you can let him off as hes still only 20
I'm telling you about those two
passes because later in the game Funchess was
again running a quick slant and Gardner once
again threw it
out in front of him.
A striker and a DM are a must and with each
passing day the options
out there get less hence my frustrated outburst about a week ago I still hope against hope that we may snare Benzema but as each day
passes I feel we've done our business already and I've seen this attitude from Wenger time and time
again.
For the game against Everton I would go with Kosc Debuchy, Merts, Kosc, Monreal Flamini, Ramsey Sanchez, Özil, Ox Campbell At least you will have players in the team that will have a go at the Everton defence and not
pass the ball
out wide from just outside the penalty area
again and
again ad nauseam.
Passing out from the back he'd
again be better, long and short.
Must be a joke; should be ashamed to even mention this game
again... I need a good drink after what i read and shut my computer... Someone said we should not complain as Chelsea flopped 2 years ago... So, yeah, we should as well and accuse referrees... I'm
out guys... The season is over, what we fighting for, 6 to 12 place... Liverpool can't finish behind us, we have no consistency nor game, just
pass the ball like academy 6 year old do,
passing the ball... Instead to put the damn ball behind the net, contrrol the ball and never score means no control of the game nor the ball, it should be behind frekin net...
And for those who are constantly bashing him about his lack of impact in games, maybe you should watch the Newcastle game
again and see how much impact a player like Ozil would have had, a player who can keep possession, drag opposition players
out of position and requires constant attention from the opposition to stop him from delivering that one killer
pass even if he seems to be having a bad game [I recall Ronaldinho had a relatively quiet game in the 2006 champions league final game, he did just one thing all game, he delivered that
pass to Eto'o that got Lehmann sent off, he wasn't huffing and puffing for 90 minutes].
Sammie Coates catches a touchdown
pass with 37 seconds left to tie it
again at 28, and then we all remember the finish: the craziness of whether Yeldon did or did not get
out of bounds with one second left or not, and the time it took for the replay official to determine if there was one second to put back on the clock in the first place.
After a Chippewa three - and -
out, Terrell would
again march his team down the field, finding Eric Boyden on a cross-field
pass to give the Broncos a 15 - 14 lead midway through the 2nd quarter.

again at the heart of their good work, exchanging
passes with Sterling and picking
out Aguero at the far post for a simple tap - in after 48 minutes.
Almost scored a second when he let Walker's
pass run across him with his back to goal, and totally caught
out the defender, ran the show
again, absolute brilliance.
I'm seriously not here to bash Tom Cleverley, I'm not, (I do enough of that on Twitter and this is genuinely as impartial as I can be) but the Manchester United midfielder
again comes
out bottom when it comes to a vaguely offensive
passing statistic.
A slick
passing move required Stephens and Ward - Prowse to converge on Sead Kolasnic to prevent the Bosnian from picking
out Lacazette in the middle immediately after the interval but
again it was Saints who continued to pose the greater threat on the break.
Walker sparked off angry reactions from United supporters the very next moment when he slyly kicked the ball
out after the poor kid
passed the ball to him once
again.
In terms of
passes played, he
again distributes the ball square to William Gallas and Sandro to the right, then more diagonally
out to Gareth Bale on the left.
Further individual errors would cost Arsenal later in the half as Laurent Koscielny's
pass out of defence was misplaced and the Seagulls broke forward, with Gross crossing in for Murray to head home unmarked for his sixth goal in as many games, with Cech at fault once
again.
The Napoli conductor is then instantly back on his feet, finding pocket of space and yet
again making himself available as a
passing option as the Partenopei work their way
out from the back.
Here they were at it
again, but many of the
passes were well sniffed
out as Spurs did a good job intercepting the ball.
A break from Di Maria in the dying moments of the half ended with the Argentinian electing to
pass to Falcao which was a mistake as he should have picked
out Young who was totally unmarked inside the box, yet
again a poor selection from Di Maria which has been the story of his play of late.
El - Shafei made his presence known
again in the 87th minute, as he sent home a long
pass from Michael Mojarro for a short - handed goal and put a bow on the proceedings and, as it would turn
out, the season.
