In the 7 years that I have owned it the only fixes we have made to it are replacing the drive line and the
front passenger side wheel bearings — both issues from driving it off road extensively.

That in itself isn't what jumped out at me but what did was the fact that as the car sped past, I noticed sparks flying from the rear
passenger side wheel which was totally missing and caused the car no loss of steering, traction or speed.
If this is a 4 - cylinder engine, there is a trick to replacing the alternator without taking
the passenger side wheel off and removing a ton of stuff (as suggested in most directions I've read).
There is very little clearance around the bolt with the broken head so I can't remove it without taking off the A / C condenser and maybe even
the passenger side wheel well.
I ended up sliding and putting
both passenger side wheels in a deep ditch.
What further exacerbates these conditions is uneven torque between the drive and
passenger side wheel.
The only real complaint I have with the truck is the hubs on both the driver and
passenger side wheels have failed multiple times.
She's also starting to rust a little bit from the rear
passenger side wheel, but again, that's to be expected after nearly two decades.
