pastured chicken or duck eggs in coconut oil or grass - fed
butter, while steaming 4 - 5 chopped vegetables of choice on the
side (such as spinach, kale, carrots, mushrooms and tomatoes).
If I don't make a shake, I will have a bunch of
pasture - raised eggs (8 or so) that are smothered in
butter with a
side of avocado, nitrate - free, sugar - free bacon and a dollop of sour cream.
Keeping to a basic, old - fashioned breakfast menu is fine and dandy — eggs (prepared any way: scrambled, poached, boiled, fried, omelet) with a
side of sausage or bacon from
pastured animals; soaked porridge loaded with
butter, coconut oil, nuts, seeds and berries; or French toast (made with properly prepared sour dough or sprouted bread) served with sausage,
butter and a maple syrup - sweetened fruit sauce with a
side of berries and cream.
